Quality is not a single ingredient. It is the philosophy behind every dish, every detail, and every guest experience
At Bread & Wine, quality isn’t just an ingredient — it’s our philosophy.
We prepare everything fresh, every day. Our sauces are simmered slowly — never rushed, never pre-packaged. Our bread is baked to rise with time, not with haste. We don’t freeze, we don’t microwave, and we never compromise. Each plate is made to order, one at a time — because that’s how food deserves to be treated.
Our kitchen begins with ingredients that inspire us: line-caught fish from the cold, clean waters of the north; reindeer from trusted local farmers; hand-picked herbs; and ripe seasonal produce that carries the taste of the land. Every cut, every leaf, every drizzle is chosen with intention.
Our philosophy is simple: honesty, simplicity, and respect for the ingredient. From the velvety beurre blanc on fresh salmon to the tender, perfectly cooked reindeer, every dish tells a story of craftsmanship and care.
At Bread & Wine, we believe the most unforgettable meals are made the old-fashioned way — with patience, passion, and a dedication to quality you can taste in every bite.

Absolute 10/10 on everything! This is a must-try when you’re in Tromso 😍 we had the whale, salmon, reindeer burger, and pear & apple crumble and everything was DELICIOUS. It was by far the best restaurant we went to there in our short amount of time. The whale was so tender and the sauce was amazing, same for the salmon, and the crumble was to die for! The waiter was so nice, the service was fantastic!

Having dinner in your restaurant was a splendid idea. From the starter to the dessert, everything was perfect, especially the salmon! Eating it in Tromsø made it also special. I'm glad I could try all this typical dishes in one dinner : whale, reindeer and salmon. We couldn't resist to ask for a dessert, even if we ate enought, we didn't regret one second to have ordered the Norwegian apple and pear crumble.
